Agreed 100%. I love Schneider’s older work (All That, Kenan and Kel, The Amanda Show, Good Burger, Drake & Josh), but I think he’s lost his touch with iCarly and Victorious. Now it seems like he has a “how much crap can I get past the radar?” ideal as opposed to something genuinely funny.

I think Big Time Rush is actually supposed to be pretty good?  I… don’t watch it, but I am endeared to it in an osmosis sort of way?

But I would love more Nick stuff that isn’t from the same brains.  Also less Spongebob/iCarly repeats.  I just… miss when Nickelodeon had a shit ton of variety.  Though, I might be remembering it wrong, because I do think Rugrats was the repeat monster before Spongebob arrived. 

BIG TIME RUUUUUSH. The tone is totally different and the humor isn’t based on shrieking and cruelty!  It’s character-based and hilarious and affectionate!

Seriously, dude, I will convert you to this show someday. *determined face*

These sound like all of my favorite things!  I LOOOOVE affectionate TV shows.  But I just… can’t get into it?  I’ve seen a few eps and it’s cute, but nothing about it manages to hold my attention.  I only really watch it when my siblings turn it on, but I WANT to love it.  I just… do it in a way that doesn’t involve actually watching it.  It’s a lot like Phineas and Ferb that way.

Basically, it’s a show I want to watch and love, but I’m just not really committed to it.  Maybe one day?  MAYBE.

(I’m sure a large part of the issue is the ratio of main dude characters to awesome ladies.  I will always relate better to ladies.) 

Get thyself on AIM or something and I will TELL YOU ABOUT THE LADIES. Then you can do what I do and pretend the show is about Camille and Mercedes.
